Enjoy your incense with less ash to tidy up. This bamboo burner holds the stick horizontally, with magnetic strips at each end securing the lid and helping contain ash inside.
What’s Included:
One bamboo incense burner with a flame-retardant felt liner. Keep the felt liner inside during use; it is part of the burner, not packing material. Incense is sold separately.
How to Use:
Before lighting, check that the incense stick fits inside. Divine Purity sticks may be slightly longer than the interior. If needed, shorten only the bare wooden end of the unlit stick; do not break the charcoal-coated portion. Keep the felt liner in place, light the coated tip, and gently blow out the flame before placing the stick horizontally on the liner and closing the magnetic lid.
Care:
With use, incense residue may darken the bamboo lid, giving it a rustic appearance. If you prefer a cleaner look, we’ve found Murphy Oil Soap helpful for cleaning the top. Clean only when the burner is completely cool, follow the cleaner’s directions, keep the felt liner dry, and allow the burner to dry fully before using it again.
Allow the stick and ash to cool completely before emptying the burner. Replacement felt liners are sold separately, one piece per purchase, sized for this burner.
Safety:
Flame-retardant does not mean fireproof. Never leave burning incense unattended. Use on a stable, heat-resistant surface in a well-ventilated area. Keep away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable materials. Allow the burner to cool before handling.
